Becoming Muslim is simple. There is no fee, no ceremony you must attend and nobody you need permission from. Here is how.

Believe
Believe that there is only one God, with no partners, and that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His final messenger.
Say the shahadah
Ash-hadu an la ilaha illallah, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan rasulullah.
I bear witness that there is no god but God, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of God.
Tell us
Let us know so a brother or sister can welcome you, help with prayer and connect you with classes and a mentor.
